Workshop Leader
With over 20 years of experience leading choirs and working with children, David brings energy, creativity, and heart to every workshop. His work with the Alzheimer’s Society running Singing for the Brain sessions was inspired by his own Nona, who had dementia. After stepping in to lead her session one day, he was soon running workshops across four boroughs.
David also creates dynamic singing and wellness workshops for corporate clients, including a “song in a day” experience tailored to your workplace. Bring music, creativity, and wellbeing to your team — get in touch to find out more.
SIng Inchanga
In 2007, after a school trip to South Africa in partnership with the Hillcrest AIDS Centre, David fell in love with the country, its culture, and its people. Inspired by the experience, he vowed to return and began raising funds in the UK through live music events to purchase a piano for the primary school he had been working with.
In 2010, David returned and began working with the school choir. The choir quickly flourished, gaining performance opportunities that brought attention and funding to the school, helping improve its dilapidated buildings and challenging conditions.
Since then, David has returned every year to teach and expand the charity. Sing Inchanga has now reached over 12,000 children, using music to inspire, educate, and create lasting opportunities.
